Courtesy of Mike DeVantier on the first-gen RX-7 list comes scans of a GSL-SE and it's Wankel engine used as an example in a Calculus Book (Calculus, 6th edition, by Larson, Hostetler, and Edwards. published by Houghton Mifflin, page 239.)

Nice shot of a GSL-SE in the Chapter Introduction. | Not only does it explain how to determine the area of the Wankel's rotor (that's the calculus part) but it gives a little history and principals of operation. I'm thinking one or more of the authors was a fan! |
